British footwear brand Dr. Martens has announced two senior appointments to its global product leadership team. Isadora Versiani joins as global product design director from fashion brand Marc Jacobs, and Nadia Svensson joins as global merchandising and product director from Adidas.

Both executives will take up their newly created roles in November 2026, joining the company leadership team. Reporting to chief brand officer Carla Murphy, the hires are intended to strengthen product design and merchandising as part of the brand's 'Levers for Growth' strategy. The strategy focuses on transitioning the business from a channel-led structure to a consumer-first operating model. Murphy joined the company as chief brand officer in July 2025.

"Isadora and Nadia are exceptional additions to Dr. Martens, bringing together a rare combination of creative vision, product expertise and international market experience," said Murphy in a statement. "As we move further into our consumer-first model, it is critical that we bring product design back to the centre of the brand, with a sharper understanding of what consumers want and where we show up for them."

Versiani brings more than 17 years of experience in footwear design and product innovation, having previously held senior positions at Marc Jacobs and footwear label Tory Burch. Svensson previously served as senior product director in Shanghai for Adidas, managing the outdoor and sportswear categories across Greater China and the Asia-Pacific region. Svensson also previously held leadership roles at New Zealand brand Kathmandu and German e-commerce platform Zalando.
