Simon Kemmett joins as Jimmy Choo's CFO

Luxury footwear and accessories player Jimmy Choo, which was sold to Michael Kors Holdings last year, has appointed Simon Kemmett its new Chief Financial Officer, according to the Evening Standard report. Based in London, Kemmett will replace Jonathan Sinclair, who left the company to join Canada Goose as finance chief.

Kemmett, who is joining the business from Ralph Lauren, also becomes Senior Vice President, business operations at Jimmy Choo. Most recently, he served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer at Ralph Lauren EMEA. Previously, he was associated with sportswear major Nike for over 10 years.

For the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2018, total revenue at Michael Kors increased 10.8 percent to 1.18 billion dollars, including a 107.9 million dollars contribution from Jimmy Choo. For the full year, total revenue increased 5 percent to 4.72 billion dollars including a 222.6 million dollars contribution from Jimmy Choo.
