Mufti, the leading men’s fashion wear brand has appointed Vipul Mathur as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Mufti, Mathur worked as the Brand Head for Skult. He takesover from Harbir Singh Sidhu and will report to the company’s managing director and be responsible for enhancing consumer experience and expansion of the brand’s retail presence. The company will open its 300th store this year and also eyes global expansion.

With over 20 years of experience in brand management, retail operations and merchandising, Mathur has previously worked with Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, Madura Fashion, Lifestyle and Van Heusen, among other companies.

Launched in 1998 by Kamal Khushlani, Mufti currently retails through 275 EBOs pan India, 1,200 MBOs, 110 LFSs and is also present on all major e-commerce portals including its own website.
