Voonik appoints Amazon veteran Raghu Lakkapragada as COO

In order to ramp up its top-management to help transform the company from a start-up to a mature organization, fashion marketplace Voonik has appointed Amazon veteran Raghu Lakkapragada as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). After appointing Prabhakar Sunder, former Finance Head at Myntra, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this is the second senior appointment at Voonik within a month.

The company has also brought on-board experienced leaders in areas such as quality control and risk management, Voonik has said in a statement. Lakkapragada, has worked with Amazon for 11 years and built the seller-fulfilled business for Amazon India from ground level, he will ensure delivery, seller and customer experience of Voonik exceeds the best. And as Sujayath Ali, Founder and CEO, Voonik points out since Voonik doesn't do its own fulfilment, the model is similar to seller-fulfilled business of Amazon India. Lakkapragada built this for Amazon India from the ground up and scaled it to millions of shipments. As Voonik COO, Lakkapragada will help take customer and seller experience to the next level.
