Being Human has launched its first sustainable warehouse concept store in, Guwahati. With this store, Being Human claims to have revolutionized the concept of retail spaces in India. It aims to strengthen its presence in the Northeast and Tier II, III markets with 21 new stores in FY 18-19 in cities. The cities in their radar are: Jamshedpur, Bhubaneshwar, Srinagar, Vapi, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Delhi, Noida, Lucknow, Bangalore, Dehradun, Jammu among others. The new store is spread over 750 sq ft on GS Road, Sreenagar, is one-of-a-kind concept store inspired by the look and feel of a warehouse. The brand has also added subtle elements of metal and wood fittings and rails to create a vibrant yet modern atmosphere at the store.
The idea behind a warehouse concept with an industrial set-up is to keep all the products the key focus in the store. The design is easily adaptable to any kind of collection or categories that are introduced points out Karan Berry, VM Head, Being Human Clothing.
The company has exclusive stores in 45 cities across the country and also retails through shop-in-shops, distributor networks and in online portals. Being Human was launched by Salman Khan in 2012 and was globally licensed by The Mandhana Retail Ventures. It has footprint in over 15 countries with over 600 point of sale.
