Blackberry plans to open 70 stores in FY18

This fiscal Blackberrys is targeting 25 per cent growth in turnover at Rs 900 crores backed by retail and portfolio expansion. The menswear brand retails through 1,000 MBOs in India and is now looking for 25-30 per cent growth in the current fiscal.

Mohan Clothing, the force behind the brand expects to achieve its growth target through retail expansion and boost in sales from new sub brand, the Blackberrys Urban. The company had reported a turnover of Rs 720 crores previous fiscal. It operates around 205 standalone company operated stores and is looking to add 70 more outlets in this fiscal.

Director Nikhil Mohan says, the company does not wish to enter women's wear segment any time soon and is concentrating on its current portfolio and new sub brands that will be launched. Blackberrys, launched a new casual wear brand Blackberrys Urban targeting 25-40 year old men.
