Cantabil believes in continuously innovating so that it can deliver the best for its customers. And this is clearly reflected in the new collection.
The collection continues with its originality in terms of textiles, designs, constructions and serves the best quality and affordable prices. This season menswear consists of basic formal wears, casuals and party wear. The focus is more on party segments in all categories.
Deepak Bansal, Director, says, “Simplicity is the best attitude one can wear and sophistication is the value addition to your simplicity, making your attire compatible. Our experts have always been researching and developing new concept collections every year. This year also, we are working on a particular theme. Remastering old fashion movements and making them fit into the contemporary is the underlying theme of the collection.”
Egyptian blues, tribal prints dominate women’s wear
In women’s wear, latest silhouettes are being adapted such as hourglass, A-line, straight fits and so on. Boat necks, keyholes, mandarin collars, illusion necklines are mainly the highlights of the collection. Contrast plackets and yoke lines break the monotony of the prints and patterns. The high low concepts have been used in shirts, dresses and tunics. The colour palette for this season is that of old paintings, dark with neutrals combined. Scarlet, red hot, Egyptian blues, pine green are some of the colours being used. Printed fabrics are used. Prints including hand painted motifs, floral fused with modern geometrics are big. Tribal prints with bold geometrics are also working well. Geometrics prints with paisleys and ditsy floral are a great addition for the artistic look. The fabrics for this season include latest blended fabrics according to the different category. Dobby weaves are used with different geometric patterns, twills, printed corduroys, printed denims, printed crepes, mélange, tactile tweeds, rayon, modals, and so on.
Classic denims and Bengal stripes for men only
In menswear, classic denims and work wear colours combine with vulnerable, sensitive range of tinted neutrals. Intense blues and chalks combine with dense colour story. Greens and stone grays also compliment the woody timber tones. In casual items, denim blue comes reinforced with chalk and clay. Black brings a sharp new feel to the entire palette. Intricate patterns, ditsy prints are used in shirts. Bengal stripes, micro stripes, micro checks, plaids, ginghams are some of the different patterns. Fabrics used are linens, chambrays, dobby, Fila fil, cotton satins, Giza cottons, denim for upper wears. In bottoms, 90 per cent of the fabrics are stretch/lycra. In shirts, Cantabil has remastered the shapes and cuts of the collars according to the various occasions. Various fits of shirts have been included for e.g., slim fit, regular fit, etc.
