Delhi-based Colors in Accent (CIA) was conceptualised as a one-stop fashion shop for modern woman. Its range of prêt western wear and accessories matches up to international standards. Dressing up women in latest styles and designs, CIA recently launched its Autumn/Winter 2016 collection and is gung-ho about winning hearts once again.
The Autumn/Winter collection is subtle with bright paints and solid colours, clean silhouette with detailing, uses imported fabrics and consists of jackets, blazers, sweatshirts, tops, tunics and dresses. As Sandhir Kalra, Proprietor, says, “Colors in Accent is a design house with a difference. We don’t design to impress, we design to help you discover a new you.”
Quality over quantity is what works for CIA
CIA is well experienced and has a firm grip on sourcing super fine high quality fabrics and accessories from countries like China and Korea. Its strength lies in the production of high quality woven and knitted garments. Even buyers are aware of the emphasis on quality control and that fetches CIA repeat orders. The company is constantly developing new ideas and styles. As a result, it has remained at the forefront of technological progress within the world of garments. As Kalra says, “Our USP is our focus on quality and finishing of the products and timely deliveries.” He adds, “Our team is aware of the key issues and criteria facing buyers when choosing a supplier such as product specification, quality, lead-time etc and thus by focusing on these issues, we have developed an enviable track record with regards to execution and timely delivery.”
CIA’s manufacturing division is based in the heart of New Delhi and it is capable of handling woven and knitted garments for women and kids, with a capacity of producing approx. 12,000 garments per month with a staff strength of about 60-70 people. Its finishing/packing unit comprises of four suction tables with boilers with a capacity to process around 500 pieces per day. From funky tees to snazzy jumpsuits, from summer dresses to formal jackets, CIA offers a complete wardrobe experience for women who understand fashion and style. What’s more, there are cool and trendy accessories to choose from too.
Challenges make it a fun experience
Like other brands, CIA too faces challenges in the women’s wear segment. The market is flooded with a variety of options and every other day many new international brands are making a foray into the market. So the woman today is spoilt for choices. CIA is not perturbed by these challenges as it believes it can easily handle them. Also, its clientele is very different and prefer the clothes it makes.
CIA is an established name in the MBO segment. It reaches out to customers through a network of distributors, agents and retailers as channel partners.
