Designer Rohit Bal expands men’s accessories range

Designer Rohit Bal has expanded his range of men’s accessories to include women’s handbags, bags, belts, eyewear and fragrances. The line was created in collaboration with Spice Jet in April 2017. Bal now plans to distribute the line across India.

Bal’s new range of accessories feature a range of men’s wallets in tan leather, women’s evening bags, several fragrances, printed ties, cuff links, printed silk scarves, and men’s shoulder bags. The line is modern, smart, and minimal. Bal presented his latest runway collection at the finale of Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week and Bollywood celebrities Diana Penty and Aditi Rao Hydari walked as his showstoppers. The collection was inspired by Kashmir’s rich textile heritage. Bal also recently dressed Gouri Choudhry at the Oscars where the director of the film “Period. End of sentence.” won the award for the best short film documentary.

Meanwhile Bal’s Kashmir-inspired summer resort created with Usha Silai Project which, is now available at Bal’s store in Defence Colony, New Delhi. ‘Guldastah’ as the collection is a creation with intricate Kashmiri embroidery done over organics comprising cottons, silk blends, Chanderis, silk organzas, silks and velvets, etc.
