European fashion portal StyleLounge launches in India

StyleLounge, a fast growing European fashion portal has launched in India. India will be its biggest market and the portal has already aggregated over one million products from various places including Snapdeal.

StyleLounge was launched in Germany in the beginning of 2015 and soon it expanded to France and the Netherlands. India is its fourth country launch in a year of existence. The website offers a user-friendly environment that helps customers to look for their desired product, see where it is available and at what price. All this can be done through a single platform. The customer can then buy the product from the shop which offers it the best price. A price comparison is provided to the customer across all stores and this includes vouchers, discounts, shipping and returns. The site will also display the availability of the product as well as the colours and sizes. This makes shopping for fashion products all the more smarter.

At 30 per cent, fashion represents the largest segment of all e-commerce revenues. Also, comparing prices, especially in India, can be a daunting task. But through StyleLounge, this problem is overcome. Online shopping can be slightly easier. As Johannes Heinen, founder and CEO of StyleLounge says the online boom in e-commerce has made online shopping a ‘complex task for customers’.
