Kalyan Silks opens its 25th store in Muscat

Reputed South Indian sari brand, Kalyan Silks, opened its 25th showroom. The swanky, lavish showroom was opened in Muscat, bringing to this shopping destination a choice of best silk saris. The showroom is spread over two floors. The ground floor stocks matching blouse pieces, unstitched churidar material, readymade salwars , men’s formals, casuals, men’s western wear, suits, men’s ethnic wear, sherwanis and dhotis . The first floor stocks a mindboggling range of saris such as Kancheepuram, Benarasi, Mysore silk, designer silk saris, fancy saris, chiffon saris and cotton saris. The showroom also has Sougandhika, well-known branded bridal sari.

Kalyan Silks has four international showrooms –two in Dubai and one each in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. It has more than 1000 looms manned by more than 2000 talented weavers, an in-house design team that consists of some of the best designers and production units.

T S Pattabhiraman, Chairman and MD, Kalyan Silks is extremely excited about the landmark launch. He has now plans to spread out the century old tradition to more cities. Its sixth showroom in the UAE will be opened by the middle of 2016 and a new showroom in Tamil Nadu will be opened before Diwali.
