Koovs’ sales rise 189 per cent

E-commerce player Koovs’ annual sales have grown 189 per cent year on year. It has a million weekly web site visits, which is a 110 per cent increase year on year. There has been a 55 per cent increase in conversion rate and registered users are now increasing by 226 per cent year on year.

It has its own private labels that bring affordable global high street fashion to India and that have hit the right chord with the target audience. It brings affordable, accessible, exclusive designer collaboration capsule collections from high profile national and designers such as Manish Arora, Pankaj and Nidhi, Henry Holland, Mawi Keivom, Giles Deacon, Patrick Cox and Melissa Odabash.

Koovs' business is growing significantly above the market rate. It has a clearly defined and differentiated brand strategy. Its private label collection, designer capsule collaborations and carefully curated branded collections will be its focus. Going forward, Koovs will give more choice by extending the number of styles and categories to meet the lifestyle needs of its customers. It will introduce new categories such as jeans, leisure and work wear. The aim is to become India's number one western fashion destination by 2020. It will focus on sectors with the potential for consistent growth and also a target customer group.
