Laganini to enter Liberty London and Le Bon Marché, and open Madrid flagship in 2027

Madrid – The Zaragoza-based womenswear brand Laganini, which specialises in slow fashion, is boosting its presence and operations outside of Spain with its launch in the exclusive department stores Liberty London and Le Bon Marché. This move is part of its short and medium-term strategic growth plan. The plan includes a particularly noteworthy milestone: the opening of its first flagship store in Madrid in 2027.

Founded in Zaragoza in 2023 by designer and entrepreneur Ángela Jordá, Laganini's story can only be described as one of indubitable success. This is evident from the interest its collections have generated and the strong business growth the brand continues to experience. The company highlights that its business structure is currently financially sound. Its dynamics and operations are sustained by sales generated mainly through its online business, its Zaragoza showroom, and a carefully selected network of multi-brand stores that stock its fashion collections. These physical points-of-sale are currently concentrated in Spain, with its designs sold in stores such as Benoit in Madrid; La Favorita in León; Cocoe in Asturias; and Portico in Barcelona. The brand has just added its first international multi-brand points-of-sale with its entry into the iconic department stores Liberty London in London and Le Bon Marché in Paris.

“Entering the retail landscapes of Paris and London after just three years shows that the international market values authenticity, finish, and the longevity of garments,” highlights Ángela Jordá, founder of Laganini, on the launch in both department stores. She complements these observations by acknowledging the “recognition from consultants” and the “support of global trendsetters” the brand has received since its inception. This has not only significantly contributed to the brand's growth and increasing popularity but, “reaffirms our belief,” adds Jordá, “that the new contemporary luxury is about quality and respecting production times.”

Surpassing 3 million euros and launching flagship store in Madrid by 2027

Delving into the current dynamics of its business model and echoing the words of its founder and creative director, a key element of the brand is Laganini's fashion offering. Its collections are developed under a slow fashion philosophy in limited runs. The focus is on the quality of fabrics and processes, the uniqueness of its designs, and are produced “entirely in Spain”. These characteristics collectively create the unique aura surrounding the brand, which has captured the interest of trendsetters and street style figures both within and outside of Spain.

With this unique value proposition as its main driver, Laganini has achieved an outstanding year-over-year growth rate of +70 percent annually since its founding. This performance has resulted in a turnover of around one million euros at the close of 2025. The brand expects to double this figure by the end of 2026 and triple it by 2027, reaching a turnover of over 3 million euros in sales. Laganini expects to achieve this growth as a result of increased sales both in Spain and internationally, highlighting the growth potential and scalability of its offerings and business model.

To advance these objectives, Laganini plans to mark a turning point in its history with the opening of its first flagship store in Madrid in 2027. This store is set to become a key reference point for the brand and its customer community in Spain. From there, the brand will advance its national growth and expansion strategies. The domestic market currently accounts for only 35 percent of its sales, compared to 65 percent from international sales. This latter share is led by turnover generated in markets such as France, Germany, Italy, the US, and the UK, its main “sales drivers”. The brand will also seek to continue scaling through strategic agreements like those now secured for its entry into Liberty London and Le Bon Marché.

“Our annual growth is sustained by a fundamental balance between expanding our footprint abroad and maintaining a direct connection and care for our community in the domestic market,” remarks Ángela Jordá. Continuing with this balancing act, “after consolidating this external digital footprint,” with 65 percent of sales generated outside Spain, “entering the physical spaces of Liberty and Le Bon Marché aims to enhance the brand's visibility to a highly qualified global and local clientele,” notes the Zaragoza-based fashion brand. From a domestic perspective in Spain, the brand is advancing “its national expansion with the opening of its first flagship store in the Spanish capital” in 2027. This store “will act as the driver for its retail channel, allowing the brand to strengthen direct contact with its community.” This is all happening while it also expands its presence in the “wholesale channel,” they add, “with key agreements that we will see next season.”
