Manish Arora looking at global retail expansion of his brand

Acclaimed Indian designer Manish Arora’s diffusion brand, ‘Happy by Manish Arora’, is now looking to strengthen its retail presence globally. The brand is looking at a stronger presence in the Middle East, China, Japan, Korea and Italy. Arora’s brand is drawing up plans to open 200 stores and be present in 250 MBOs in next three years. Interestingly, Arora is year to open an exclusive store in India.

Starting its retail expansion with Chinese luxury brands hosting company, Intrend, in China since December last year, Arora’s label has set up three stores in the country. The brand known for its mono-stores in the Middle East and 75 MBOs across the world, does not have own store in India. While Intrend facilitates the brand’s retail existence in China, Chaloud is its retail partner in the Middle Eastern market. European store designer Riccardo Haiat has created the store design ID of Manish Arora label.
