E-tailer Myntra is expecting foreign labels to contribute 15 per cent to its revenues in the next 12-18 months. The plan is to add more global names to its portfolio. It has tied up with fashion brand DKNY. So far, global labels contribute about 5 per cent to the app-based e-tailer’s revenues.

In November 2014 Myntra tied up with international brands such as Desigual, New Look, Furla, Mango, Superdry, Emporio Armani and L’occitane to make their products available on its platform. The tie-up with DKNY will see Myntra selling 150 styles of products such as apparel, handbags, shoes, wallets and watches. The products are priced between Rs 5,800 and Rs 39,000. As Gunjan Soni, chief marketing officer and head, international brands, Myntra, says that such partnerships have strengthened their offering across categories and ‘allows our consumers to experience the latest in fashion globally, in India’.

Till now Myntra has partnered with more than 2,000 fashion and lifestyle brands such as Nike, Adidas, Arrow, Mango, Jealous 21, Diesel, Ferrari, Fabindia and so on.
