Myntra starts selling private labels through Walmart’s overses stores

With Walmart investing $16-billion in Flipkart, its fashion arm Myntra has started selling private label — All About You — at Walmart stores in Canada. The brand is targeting the huge Indian diaspora living in the country. Launched in 2015, ‘All About You’ is a women’s fashion brand.

While Myntra has no plans of take its e-commerce service outside the country, the company will sell private labels through Walmart stores overseas. At present, the company has 14 private brands, varying in size from among the best-selling brand on its platform to relatively smaller ones. As a whole, its private label business drives 25 per cent of revenues from its in-house brands to which the company expects to grow to 30 per cent by the next fiscal year. Myntra’s other celebrity endorsed brands such as HRX by Hrithik Roshan is also in the pipeline to be sold through Walmart stores globally.
