Now endless aisle for customers at Soch stores

Ethnic wear brand Soch is introducing endless aisles for customers in its stores. Soch already has endless aisle technology for staff. The system will be handled by Arvind, the firm which is responsible for Soch’s omni-channel strategies.
Endless aisle is one of the most indispensable elements of omni-channel retailing. These are in-store kiosks which allow customers to browse and order products that are not available in the store. By accessing an endless aisle, customers can make orders online and collect them from the physical stores. It will also enable customers to check in advance whether the product they are looking for is available in stores before heading there for purchasing.
The key benefit of an endless aisle strategy is that customers will get a wider product selection, easy selection and faster services even without a sales associate’s help at the physical store. It avoids lost revenue due to the unavailability of a product that the customer is looking for. The strategy provides the opportunity for retailers to sell a product that is not available in their store. Soch has 120 stores and plans to add about 20 or 22 stores to its network by next year.
