Off-White expands Indian footprint with new store in Kolkata

Italian luxury streetwear brand Off-White has opened a new retail boutique at Quest Mall in Kolkata. Operated under retail partner Brand Concepts, the location marks the brand’s third store in India, following earlier openings in Bengaluru and Delhi.

Situated on the first floor of Quest Mall, the store presents a curated selection of contemporary apparel, footwear, and accessories from Off-White’s latest seasonal collections. The retail environment blends modern minimalism with industrial motifs, reflecting the design language developed by the late founder Virgil Abloh.

“The response to Off-White across India has reinforced our confidence in the appetite for global, highly relevant luxury,” said Abhinav Kumar, co-founder of Indian retail company Brand Concepts. “Bringing Off-White to Kolkata is a natural progression. We remain focused on expanding thoughtfully through high-tier locations and creating tailored consumer touchpoints that establish Off-White as a key player in India’s modern retail market.”

The Kolkata entry allows Off-White to establish a physical presence in Eastern India, catering to an evolving demographic of luxury and contemporary fashion consumers.

Prateek Maheshwari, managing director of Brand Concepts, added: “India’s luxury consumer is evolving rapidly, seeking brands with authentic narrative and distinct cultural presence. Kolkata offers a unique, fashion-forward ecosystem. By pairing global identity with local relevance, we are building a robust network for Off-White.”

The expansion aligns with Brand Concepts’ broader strategy to increase the distribution of global luxury and lifestyle labels across key Indian metropolises.
