Retail expansion plans 109°F

Creative Garments will open around 10 exclusive brand outlets this year for its brands 109°F and Fusion Beats. The EBOs will be in cities like Mumbai, Guwahati, Pune, Bangalore and one in Nepal. The brands today are present through 70 stores across India, Nepal and Middle East and through shop in shops in 600 large format stores across India.

The long term strategy is to expand rapidly and to keep on increasing the presence in metros, Tier I cities and some Tier II cities. The brands are present in all leading e-commerce marketplaces. Both brands cater to women with tops, tunics, dresses, shrugs and bottoms.

Creative Garments, formed in 1974, is among the largest apparel and home furnishing groups with 22 state of the art apparel factories all over India producing over eleven million units annually. It is able to adapt to various buyer’s requirements due to its wide range of product development capability.

Currently exports form a substantial part of Creative’s garment business. While the core focus continues to be garments, it has created a strong presence in other areas such as embroidery, yarn, sheeting, power and retail. Future areas are outdoor gear such as bags, sleeping bags and tents.
