Sleepwear brand Mystere Paris’s new collection is flowy & flowery

New kid on the block in sleepwear, Mystere Paris is redefining the way women go to sleep. Trendy and stylish nightwear, Mystere Paris in its short existence has already found loyal customers. It recently unveiled its Autumn/Winter 2016 collection which brings in new styles and cuts.

Mystere Paris’ clothes are known to be easy to wear and comfortable. They have been designed keeping this in mind the modern women prefer to wear sleepwear which is fashionable and sexy. The Autumn/Winter collection has three categories: sleep wear, occasional (bridal wear) and lounge wear. The sleep wear collection has comfortable pajamas and tops made with high quality fabric, and with prints and embroidery details. Then there are baby doll dresses with new lengths such as mid calf, ankle and below knee. The regular robe sets are in made in satin while knitted robe sets have embroidery and lace details, strappy dresses, shirt and pajamas with contrast piping details. Experimenting has in lounge wear category, they have added mix and match of fabrics, pajama sets with sporty look and knitted dress with cutesy embroidery. Bold and bright colours are the palette for Autumn-Winter 2016 with a hint of contrast.

Says Tanvi Goenka Sekhsaria, Brand Partner, “We’ve added interesting details such as: imported laces, toggles and tapes, which make the garment more appealing. Apart from these detailing we’ve done piping and embroidery as well. For the Autumn/Winter, the brand has used a little heavy fabrics like fleece, French Terry with prints and yarn dyed, Grindle (100 cotton with texture detail), flannels, velour, satin and rayon.

Changing tastes, choices drive growth

Till a few years ago, women were not so particular about what they wore while sleeping. But in the last few years the market has expanded and there are innumerable choices in sleepwear. Women, too, are more conscious of what they wear while sleeping. Today, sleepwear constitutes a significant part of any lingerie showroom. The core sub-products are chemise, pyjamas sets, short length and long robes, tube dresses, nightgowns and nightshirts. The growing number of working women and increased share of westernwear in their wardrobe have contributed to the growth.

Innerwear market grows rapidly

Innerwear retail in India is pegged at Rs 18,000 crores and is expected to grow at CAGR of 13 percent. The women’s innerwear market which is driven by value-added innerwear products, contributes around 60 percent to the market. This market is worth Rs 10,880 crores and growing at a promising CAGR of 15 percent. Sekhsaria believes “Online sales are growing rapidly and will soon be equivalent to offline”.
