Westside has opened a store in Nagaland. The store offers an international shopping experience with a comprehensive range of apparel, footwear and much more, all under one roof. Westside has a range of contemporary and exclusively designed clothes for men, women and children, providing not just value for money but also the finest merchandise. The decision to bring Westside to Nagaland was taken in 2012.

Established in 1998 as part of the Tata group, Trent operates the Westside chain store with its center at Maharashtra. The company has established 98 Westside department stores measuring 8,000 to 34,000 square feet floor space across 50 cities.

In Nagaland, Westside was brought by Kley Enterprise. This is a Nagaland-based business venture which has a vision to create a business of value and contribute towards ushering transformation in the state by opening market and economy through collaboration and bringing in the biggest global companies to foster trade, investment and employment generation for the local youths.

The group encourages local youth to work in the private sector, pursue entrepreneurship and business which would not only contribute to the local economy but also generate employment opportunities for people and help them become self-sufficient instead of always depending on handouts and aid for salary and funds.
