Accessory Headquarters (AHQ), which holds the global license for BCBGeneration, has announced its partnership with omni-channel platform company Ace Turtle. The company said in a statement that AHQ will use Ace Turtle’s platform to launch its BCBGeneration premium bags collections in leading ecommerce marketplaces in India and South East Asia. Through this partnership, BCBGeneration will enhance its online presence by utilizing the reach of ecommerce leaders to over 200 million online shoppers in these two markets. BCBGeneration, a lifestyle brand was launched by AHQ last year.
Speaking on the development, Aby Sakkal, VP, International Sales, Accessory Head Quarters said in a media release: “Categories such as handbags has witnessed tremendous uptake as customers are seeking more and more stylish collections in this segment. As we look to consolidate our online presence in India and SE Asia, we are confident that Ace Turtle’s cross border platform will play a significant role in helping us reach out to millions of internet shoppers in this region.”
“Cross border retail is poised to reach 630 billion dollars by 2022, with 40 percent contribution coming from Asia. As more and more customers from these markets prefer to consume international marquee brands, especially in the fashion segment, it is all but important to partner with leading international brands in order to support this ecosystem,” added Nitin Chhabra, CEO, Ace Turtle.
