The e-commerce division of textile manufacturer Arvind, called Arvind Internet, is hoping to get 10-15 per cent of its business from online sales in the next three to five years. Arvind Internet has launched its omni-channel fashion portal NNNow.com. Arvind also expects to double its revenues by 2020 to become a 1 billion dollars (Rs 6,710 crores) company.
The company hopes to integrate all its 1,200 offline stores across its 35 brands by the middle of this fiscal. Kulin Lalbhai, Executive Director, Arvind, informed that they were going to integrate 100-150 stores every month and by the middle of this fiscal all their stores would be digitised and live. A top-down model will be followed while integrating stores, covering the top 15 cities first. A 10-15 per cent business is expected from the omni-channel business in the next three to five years.
Interestingly, NNNow.com will integrate online and in-store shopping with same day hyper local delivery, store pick-ups for online orders, same day hassle free returns at stores and India-wide inventory access to customers. The website has also tied up with third party with 15-20 other brands to sell their products on their portal. Arvind is home to many international fashion and beauty brands like Gap, Calvin Klein, Gant, Nautica, Aeropostale, US Polo, The Children’s Place and Sephora.
