Arvind Store to become a Rs 600 cr business entity

Textile and apparel major Arvind has chalked out a plan to turn the 'Arvind
Store' into a Rs 600 crores business, almost a four-fold jump from the
current figure. In FY15, revenue from the 'Arvind Stores' is expected to be
Rs 150 crores and by 2020, company aims to achieve a target of Rs 600
crores revenue.
The plan is to expand Arvind’s footprint by taking the store count from 142 now to about 550 stores by 2020. The Arvind Store would continue to focus on Tier II to V cities for growth. Nearly 80 percent of the new stores are anticipated to be in the non-metros. These stores would offer premium shirting & suiting fabrics under brand Tresca.
The store will also display brands like Arrow, US Polo and Flying Machine and will provide customised tailoring solutions with studio Arvind and Arvind denim lab.
