Being Human eyes 30-40 percent growth this fiscal year

With retail revenue at MRP sales of about Rs 300 crores and net sales of around Rs 190 crores, Being Human Clothing backed by actor Salman Khan’s Being Human Foundation is looking forward to achieving a 30-40 percent growth over last year. Mandhana Industries is the exclusive global licensee of the brand and manages manufacturing and distribution for the brand.
The brand with three lines under its fold: core, mid-fashion and the newly launched premium fashion catering to customers across segments. The collection is retailed in over 500 stores, a mix of company operated (CoCo), franchise and shop-in-shop stores in Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle and Westside, among others. The brand is also present on ecommerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Myntra and Jabong.
Apart from the strong domestic presence, the brand is retailed through 135 shop-in-shops with the Landmark Group in the Middle-East along with one international store in Nepal. This year, the company aims to launch two stores in Mauritius and one in France. In France and Spain, it is already selling with 75 shop-in-shops and multi-brand outlets and via online partner in South Africa. Plans are underway to launch the brand with another ecommerce firm in the Far East and other international markets like South Africa, USA, UK and Canada. This year, the plan is to open another 50 shop-in-shops and 20 exclusive brand outlets.
