Brooks Running achieves 14 percent year-to-date revenue growth
US-based performance footwear and apparel brand Brooks Running (Brooks) has posted a record second quarter, delivering 14 percent year-to-date revenue growth as demand for its products remained strong across all regions and channels.
During the first half of 2026, the brand grew 9 percent year-over-year (YoY) in the Americas. International expansion accelerated rapidly, with revenue up 39 percent across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and 10 percent in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
“Around the globe, running continues to play an increasingly important role for people prioritizing health and wellness in their lives,” said Dan Sheridan, chief executive officer of Brooks. “At Brooks, we aim to give runners the very best product and experiences to pursue that. Our first-half results reflect that focus and the incredible work of our teams globally.”
Brooks running footwear maintain top position
In Europe, Brooks outpaced the performance running footwear market in France, which grew 11 percent in the second quarter. The label also maintained its top position in Germany for adult performance running footwear priced above 90 euros, holding the top three selling styles in the category.
In the US run specialty channel, the company maintained its position as the top running footwear brand for the sixth consecutive month. Retailer Fleet Feet also named Brooks its number one vendor for the 11th consecutive year.
Franchise expansion and lifestyle category gains
Product growth during the second quarter was driven by core running franchises, trail products, and accessories. Celebrating its 25th year, the Adrenaline GTS line grew 19 percent YoY in the second quarter. The business also launched the Ghost 18, the latest edition of its core road-running shoe.
Trail running remained a high-performing category, with sales increasing 71 percent YoY during the quarter. This was supported by demand for the Ghost Trail and the Cascadia franchise, which grew 58 percent.
In apparel, the brand built momentum through its Movement and PR Elite collections, alongside established lines like Luxe and Chaser. Accessories sales increased 29 percent YoY, with sports bras maintaining strong sell-through rates.
Brooks also expanded its presence in the lifestyle footwear market through its RE: Innovation Studio showroom at Paris Fashion Week in June. The brand presented updated iterations of its Glycerin 12 and Vanguard models, combining heritage designs with modern cushioning technologies. The brand’s lifestyle category recorded near triple-digit growth during the quarter.
