Columbus Sports aims for Rs 100 cr turnover from Stardox

Columbus Sports having an outdoor and adventure show label called Stardox
under its fold is aiming for Rs 100 crores turnover from it over the next
three years. The brand is priced between Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 and competes
against players like Woodland. The company plans to manufacture shoes at
its plant in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
Columbus Sports, with a turnover of Rs 200 crores last fiscal, expanded its product offering with the launch of Stardox earlier this month. It plans to further unveil full range of the brand including sandals and slippers by summer 2015. Stardox will be available in more than 600 MBOs across India and the company will increase its distribution with up to 1,000 stores. The collection would also be retailed on leading online platforms such as Amazon, Jabong, Myntra and Flipkart.
