KKCL reports 18 percent jump in Q4 net sales

Kewal Kiran Clothing (KKCL) reported 18 percent rise in year-on-year net sales for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year ended March 31, 2015. In a BSE filing, the company said net sales increased to Rs 103.95 crores against Rs 88.06 crores in the fourth quarter in last fiscal.

While operating profits soared 25.84 percent, Kewal Kiran’s net profit rose marginally by 3.43 percent year-on-year. Net profit in the reporting quarter grew to Rs 21.40 crores compared to Rs 20.69 crores in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2013-14. The company recorded pre-tax profit of Rs 30.44 crores as against Rs 27.94 crores, up 8.94 percent. Earnings per share increased to Rs 17.37 from Rs 16.80 from the same quarter, last year.

Launched in 1989, KKCL’s products include jeans and casual men’s wear labels such as Killer, LawmanPg3 and Integriti. In future, the company may extend its product offerings by adding women’s or kids’ wear brands. KKCL denim line is available from Rs1,600 to Rs 2,200 and shirts start from Rs1,000 and go up to Rs1,600.
