Klozee raises seed funding from TracxnLabs

The month-old start-up Klozee, has raised funding through a seed funding round from TracxnLabs. The company’s business model is renting designer apparels at one-tenth of the retail price. Founded by IITans and it currently serves customers in Bangalore. The idea of starting a designer clothing rental business clicked when co-founder Aman Haji’s cousin complained of not having clothes to wear for a wedding despite having a wardrobe full of clothes.
Klozee users can rent an outfit for only 10 percent of the retail price with same amount as a deposit with options like three-hour same-day delivery wherein a customer returns it on the same day or advance booking where a customer can keep the outfit for four days.
The company, as of now offers 150 Indian and western outfits and witnessing an enthused response with orders growing 50 percent week-on-week. Klozee now aims to touch 100 orders a day by the end of the year across Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi.
