Linen Club aims to cross Rs 1,000 cr turnover in two years

Linen Club, the linen fabric and apparel brand from the house of Aditya Birla Nuvo’s Jayashree Textiles, is revamping its collection to woo the young audience. At the same time it’s eyeing on a turnover target of Rs 1,000 crores in two years. The brand aims to expand its reach and create collections appealing to the today’s young generation to achieve its plans. Linen Club is ready to launch ready to wear garments that would be available across all its stores. The company is in the midst of a Rs 235 crores expansion that's is expected increase production to around 10 million metres annually from eight million metres this year.

On the company’s agenda is to attract 60 percent of the 1.3 billion Indian population aged below 32 years, out of which 10 to 15 percent, are affluent enough to afford linen clothing. Meanwhile Linen Club stores are being revamped under American agency AGA, to offer a trendy atmosphere. Plans are also in the pipeline to go online in partnership with e-commerce portal Flipkart soon.

Linen Club is one of India’s finest fabric brands and is sought after by leading garment labels such as Colour Plus, Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Wills Lifestyle, Park Avenue, Benetton, Blackberry’s, Levi’s, Freelook, Arrow, Zodiac and Pepe Jeans.
