Lux Industries sees bottomline growth of 13.51 percent in Q4

Lux Industries has registered 3.51 percent growth in topline reaching a turnover of Rs 940.86 crores in 2015-16 against Rs 908.96 crores in 2014-15. The bottomline grew by 13.51 percent touching Rs 51.34 crores in the year under review against Rs 45.22 crores in 2014-15. The company also recorded growth in earnings per share (EPS) with an increase by 13.51 per cent reaching at Rs 101.65 in the year under review against Rs 89.55 in 2014-15.

With this Lux Industries is now one of the fastest growing innerwear companies in India with a compounded annual revenue growth (CAGR) of 12.56 percent over a period of five years leading to 2015-16 as against the textile industry’s single-digit percentage growth. As Pradip Todi, MD, Lux Industries emphasises now the focus would see further expansion and bring in more innovation in products.

The company recently launched Lux Cozi Glo collection which has innovative fabrics like cotton modal and has seen path-breaking success in the market. A new TVC has also been launched with actor Sushant Singh as the face of the brand. The company is aggressive about growth in the coming quarters. The company’s aggregate manufacturing capacity is at 1.2 million garments per day across more than 11 manufacturing facilities in India. Lux Industries has more than doubled its revenue in the last five years and is constantly pushing its boundaries to increase its turnovers while not compromising on quality.
