Platform6 acquires Without Production to integrate fashion show production

Creative agency collective Platform6 announced on Wednesday the acquisition of Without Production, a Milan-based company specialising in the design and production of fashion shows. Platform6, which already operated in the luxury events sector through its entities Marcadé and Superbien (an agency specialising in the creation of moving images), now adds fashion show management to its expertise. Through this transaction, the group expands its geographical reach, building on its presence in Paris, New York, Shanghai, Dubai, Monaco and now Milan.

Without Production was founded in 1999 by Gabriella Mazzei. It specialised in artistic direction and event production for major industry players, including Prada, Gucci, Ferragamo and Louis Vuitton. Without Production has now become one of the most prestigious event production studios in Italy.

Following the acquisition, Without Production will retain its identity and current operational structure to serve its clients, according to a press release sent to FashionUnited. As part of the agreement, founder Gabriella Mazzei becomes a shareholder in Platform6.

“The arrival of Without Production to our group demonstrates our long-standing commitment to excellence and creativity,” said François Marcadé, president of Platform6. Xavier Marin, president of the investment fund SLAM and majority shareholder of Platform6, stated that this investment aims to position the group as a European leader in live physical experiences.
