Roposo gets Series A funding boost

Gurgaon-based Relevant e-solutions, owner of Roposo.com, a fashion-focused
social network, has raised Series A investment. It’s led by the technology
venture investor Tiger Global. Previous investors, Indian Quotient and
Binny Bansal, Co-founder and COO - Flipkart.com also participated in this
round.
Earlier, the company had raised one million dollars (over Rs 600 crores) through a bridge round from its existing investors, including Binny Bansal and seed fund India Quotient. The startup had previously raised under 5,00,000 dollars (around Rs three crore) in its first round of funding from Bansal and India Quotient, besides 5ideas Startup Superfuel, for its other entity Giveter.
Roposo was founded by Avinash Saxena, former CTO of Zomato, and Bhangadia, a senior consultant at Schlumberger Business Consulting. It is a fashion-focused social network that allows women to discover and shop new products. All of these products are curated and recommended to each user as per shopper’s individual taste.
