“We are already doing business in this area for many customers. To enhance our service quality, we thought of creating a better facility. It is a technically designed building. And 36 vehicles can load and unload at a time. Forklifts can be done. The facility runs 24/7. This is the 27th infrastructure of this kind in India. We have eight million square foot across India. Our aim was to create ten million square feet across India by 2015. We are on track,” asserts Jain.
The company is engaged in pan-India distribution with door to door facility. IT has small godowns and warehouses across India and at strategic locations like Nagpur or Indore; it has huge warehouses, which can supply all over India. “We cover every nook and corner of the north east. We cover every square inch of India except Kerala. E-commerce is adding to logistics. People keep ordering from online retailers. We work with most e-commerce portals. We are in the service industry and service is already contributing 55 percent to GDP. Being in the service industry I feel logistics will play an important role,” exclaims Jain.
