Serena Bute London to close after 11 years, autumn/winter 2026 marks final collection

Serena Bute London is closing down, with its autumn/winter 2026 collection marking its final release, founder Serena Bute has announced on Tuesday.

In a letter to the brand's community, published on Instagram, Bute said the decision followed "much deliberation" and came after many years in the fashion business, adding that the time had come to slow down and spend more time with her family and grandchildren.

"When I started SBL, I wanted to make clothes that I liked to wear, staples that were timeless and effortlessly chic. Looking back, I am very proud of what we’ve achieved over the years. I am so grateful to the amazing community that has grown around the brand, your support and loyalty has meant so much to us," Bute said.

Bute also thanked her team and everyone who had worked with the label, saying Serena Bute London "wouldn't have been possible" without their talent and belief in the brand.

"Our final collection brings together some of our favourite styles, with new ones that I hope you’ll like. I look forward to sharing this last collection with you before winding down in November," she said.

Serena Bute London will wind down in November, after the AW26 collection has been shared with customers.
