Young fashion start-up Teesort, started in 2010, has expanded into men’s accessories and in the coming quarter will expand into women and kids segment as well. They have collaborated with Amazon for the launch of Teesort in the US which will go live within a span of a month. In addition the company is planning an expansion in the Middle East in the coming months.

Started by brothers Alok and Atul Aggarwal, Teesort saw a turnover of Rs 1 crore in 2010 itself. Since then the company has grown at a rate of 300 per cent year on year, resulting in a turnover of Rs 100 crore for the FY2015-16. The company is now aiming for Rs 200 crore for FY2016-17.

Presently, the brothers are looking for investors who can bring more than just money to the table. Alok Aggarwal says that they ‘focus on unit economics and ensure that profits are reinvested efficiently, contributing towards the growth in business’. They would like to get an investor who fits into and understands their business model.

As per Alok, Teesort is extremely focussed on having its business economics in place. They ensure each and every penny spent is efficiently utilised by the business.
