Thomas Scott India secures exclusive Forever 21 licensing for South Asia

Indian apparel company Thomas Scott (India) Limited (TSIL) has entered into an exclusive long-term licensing agreement with US-based Authentic Brands Group (Authentic) for F21 IPCO, LLC. The agreement grants TSIL exclusive rights to design, develop, merchandise and distribute Forever 21 products across India, Nepal and Bangladesh, Economic Times reports.

The partnership covers multiple product categories, including apparel, bags, small leather goods, footwear, swimwear, caps, socks and hosiery. Signed for an initial five-year term with an option to extend for an additional five years, the deal also designates TSIL as a global designated supplier for the fast fashion brand, integrating its manufacturing infrastructure into Forever 21’s international partner network.

TSIL plans to deploy a digital-first approach to re-establish the brand's position among young consumers across the South Asian region.

The licensing deal expands the company's portfolio, which currently encompasses over 50,000 stock keeping units across more than 15 owned and licensed fashion brands. The firm operates an end-to-end platform spanning design, technology, fulfilment and omnichannel distribution, supported by four manufacturing facilities and four fulfilment centres in India.

In full year 2026, TSIL recorded consolidated revenue of 2.55 billion rupees, representing a 58.3 percent year-over-year increase. The company attributed the financial performance to sustained momentum across its owned and licensed brand portfolio.
