What took so long? Inside Victoria Beckham's long road to profitability

Victoria Beckham Holdings Ltd reported an operating profit for the first time since it was created in 2008, the company announced on Monday. It rose 15 percent to 129.8 million pounds (175.7 million dollars) in the year to the end of December, marking the fifth consecutive year of double-digit revenue growth. It also posted a pre-tax profit of 3.38 million pounds (about 4.5 million dollars), compared with a loss of 4.85 million pounds (6.57 million dollars) the year before, while operating profit reached 7.3 million pounds (9.8 million dollars) against an operating loss of 1.6 million pounds (2.17 million dollars) in the previous year.
