Zodiac Clothing Company is now looking at establishing a national production centre in Andhra Pradesh (AP), which would be utilized to fulfill requirements of all Zodiac stores. Sources say that the company’s CEP Suresh Noorani met chief minister of the state, N Chandrababu Naidu to present the investment proposal.

The centre may be developed in Rayalaseema because of its close proximity to major metros -- Chennai and Bangalore. Naidu has directed industries department secretary SS Rawat to follow the project with the Zodiac management. The Zodiac company, apart from investing in its own retail business, is looking for good locations available at reasonable prices to expand retail horizon. Also on the radar is exploring new markets like Latin America, the Middle East and the US to reach out to a wider customer base.

Zodiac is positioned as a premium Italian inspired, classic menswear brand for a contemporary male dresser. To address the new generation, company has launched Zod! a very fashionable, trendy range of shirts. It addresses the needs of the 20-35 year old male, who is socially active.
