Zodiac’s net profit narrows dow to Rs 1.13 cr in Sep quarter

Zodiac Clothing Company has reported a consolidated income from operations of Rs 95.76 crores and a net profit of Rs 1.13 crore for the quarter ended September 2014. For the same quarter the consolidated total income from operations was Rs 102.32 crores and net profit was Rs 5.42 crores. Zodiac Clothing shares closed at 371.80 on November 12, 2014 (BSE) and has given 32.20 percent returns over the last six months and 81.37 percent over the last 12 months.

Zodiac is positioned as a premium Italian inspired, classic menswear brand for a contemporary male dresser. To address the new generation, the company has launched Zod! a fashionable, trendy range of shirts. It addresses the needs of the 20-35 year old male, who is socially active.

Zodiac has entered the ‘Fine Tailoring’ segment of suits and trousers, besides successfully launching a club wear brand ZOD! Zodiac has successfully created a contemporary look retail chain of stores across India. Its products primarily include shirts, trousers, and ties and accessories, such as belts and cufflinks.
