Following its previous decision to make the move from Hong Kong to Shanghai, fashion trade fair the Hub has announced that it’s upcoming edition will return to the city once more.
The announcement comes after the fashion trade show enjoyed a successful first edition in Shanghai last month, which coincided with the city’s upcoming Fashion Week. As the trade fair organisers seek to work alongside with other fashion events, the Hub has revealed that it’s upcoming edition to set to take place next season at the Central Studios, in the city’s Xintiandi district from March 16 to 18, 2016. Over 50 international exhibitors will present their collections alongside with a selection of the top Chinese designers.
"The move from Hong Kong to Shanghai was something we knew had to happen at some point with the evolution of The Hub and the massive potential of the Chinese market,” said Richard Hobbs, co-founder of the Hub. “Moving when we did turned out to be perfect timing and we could not have been happier with the results. We are definitely the “international” event in Shanghai and look after our exhibitors and visitors while maintaining an open and transparent platform to do business in this influential city.”
With the event priding itself for representing quality over quantity, the Hub has extended invitations for its next edition to a growing network of multi-label retailers in mainland China as well as the more established buyers and distributors from the region.
