Cricket and fashion have joined hands together to offer customers a unique experience. Indian Premier League (IPL) team Mumbai Indians, the cricket team owned by Reliance Industries will collaborate with global fashion brand Diesel to produce a limited edition collection. The first collection will be launched later this year and the second one will be in Spring 2017. The collection will be sold in all major cricket playing international markets.

This is the first time that Diesel has signed up for such a collaboration. It is a major recognition for Mumbai Indians as a brand. As Nita Ambani, owner, Mumbai Indians, points out it is a ‘momentous step for Mumbai Indians to be recognised as a preferred global brand partners, and thereby becoming the first sports club from India to expand its footprints globally.’

The collection will comprise both top and bottom wear. It will be available at all 11 stores of Diesel in India as well as globally in Australia, England, South Africa and other cricket playing nations. For Renzo Rosso, founder, Diesel, this collaboration marks the opportunity to fuse the Diesel creativity with the emotion and passion of the Mumbai Indians fans globally.

Earlier, Diesel has tied up with among others Ducati and Fiat 500.
