Ganni and Hunter launch first limited-edition collection
Ganni and Hunter are releasing a limited-edition collection of weatherproof apparel and accessories. The collaboration combines the British heritage of Hunter with the Danish design style of Ganni, according to a press release.
The collection consists of three ponchos; matching rain hats; a protective poncho cover for the Ganni Bou Bag; high Chelsea-style Wellington boots; and an umbrella. The items are made from waterproof materials and are available in various colours, including Ganni's signature leopard print.
Prices for the collection range from 100 to 370 euros. The umbrella costs 100 euros, the waterproof bucket hats 130 euros and the Wellington boots 230 euros. The Balmoral ankle boots are available for 330 euros, while the waterproof ponchos cost 370 euros.
For Hunter, the collaboration marks an expansion of its range into outdoor apparel. The 170-year-old British brand is known for its Wellington boots and rainwear. This is the first collaboration between Ganni and Hunter.
“Hunter is an iconic British brand. Bringing their heritage together with Ganni's Copenhagen perspective feels like an exciting dialogue between two worlds,” said Ditte Reffstrup, creative director at Ganni. According to Reffstrup, practical items can also have a distinct design.
Matthew Salter, EVP of partnership marketing at Authentic Brands Group, owner of Hunter, said that the collaboration combines Hunter's heritage with Ganni's design approach.
The collection is now available via the Hunter website and at selected Ganni and Hunter retail locations worldwide.
