India’s fastest growing lingerie brand Clovia has launched a new range of vibrant swimwear and beach accessories. The range is made from handmade crochet, neoprene and fade resistant fabrics and includes one-piece, bikini, frock style, maillots (one-piece swimwear that’s high-cut on the hips) and fancy cover-ups such as chiffon sarongs and crochet kaftan.
There are 130 different products in the collection and all of it is made from polyamide material to ensure elasticity, flexibility and longevity. The swimwear is lined with mesh so that it doesn’t stick to the body. Some pieces are also lined with powernet with shaping properties to creat the perfect silhouettes. The designs range from abstract monochrome geometric print with beautifully bold accents, opulent kaleidoscope print, contrasting stripes and trims coupled with plunging neckline and powernet lined cups. Then there are options for occasions. A tropical bikini for the beach holiday, a monokini that covers you up for the community pool in your housing society or a sporty bikini for a day at the beach or a two-piece boy-short design for poolside fun.
Select bikini and monokini come with the option of cover-ups such as georgette tops, tank top and shorts, chiffon shrugs and ruffled skirts. The beachwear collection comprises fancy cover-up kaftans and sarongs with blues, neons, burnt orange and whites providing a touch of the bohemian.
Neha Kant, Founder, Clovia, believes that they have met the need of those customers who wanted a good amount of coverage so that they could feel comfortable in public space. Clovia is backed by Ivy Cap Ventures and Zurich-based Mountain Partners AG.
