Mafatlal Industries launches saris Thavari

Maftlal Industries Limited (MIL) has launched a new range of saris under the brand Thavari. The saris will be available in printed, geometric, floral and abstract designs in superior qualities of georgette, crepe, micro x micro and poly cotton with exclusive embroidery and zari hand work. The saris will be available in 25 different qualities and a wide range of colours and designs.

This initial roll-out is an extension of women’s wear fabric segment which will offer more products such as leggings and lingerie over a period of time. The first consignment of saris has already been dispatched to exclusive sari dealer/retailer. The saris as reasonably priced. To promote its saris, Maftlal will organise retailer and consumer promotion with in-shop branding at retail points of sale, MBOs and also outdoor advertising. So far, an all India wholesale distributor/sole selling distributor Thavari Mafatlal & Company at Pandesara, Surat has been conceptualised because it is considered as the ladies fashion capital.

Mafatlal is the largest supplier of rubia, poplins, voiles and kurta fabrics to major wholesalers and retailers across India. The overall sales volume of Mafatlal Industries is over 100 million metres per annum.
