Fashion designer Narendra Kumar, who is the creative director at Amazon Fashion, has launched a new collection called ‘Fleet Street’. It is a collection of women’s work range, and consists of modern classic shirts and tops. He believes that the modern woman needs a wardrobe that is stylish, elegant, formal yet extremely comfortable.
It’s the first time that the designer has created a women’s range. It was the lack of affordable, stylish yet comfortable options in the market that led him to create this special line which focuses on smart tailoring and detailing. As Kumar explains Fleet Street is a collection of modern classic shirts and tops and has been created keeping in mind urban workspace environment. It has been launched exclusively on Amazon.in. The collection has been named after the hub of British journalism in 1980s in London. It was here that women first started working in a corporate environment.
Amazon is hopeful that they would be able to bridge the gap in the market for today’s young professional women who want multiple fashion choices at their doorsteps.
