Nimish Shah launches menswear collection -- Mr Shift

Designer Nimish Shah best known for his line of women’s wear has now launched maiden menswear collection ‘Mr Shift’. The line that features recycled fabrics and mix and match designs. The capsule collection includes high-waist pants, travel jackets made from recycled materials and khadi work shirts the kind of easy-breezy clothing you could wear to work and a gig after stopping over at an art exhibition. Shah’s menswear works as the ultimate modular wardrobe: outfits can be built using all the components to create dozens of varying looks. Everything works together, even if at first glance you wouldn’t necessarily pair them that way yourself. More formal items are also included in the collection such as a mustard yellow velvet swing jacket and the overall feel of the collection is at once relaxed and discerning.

Shah has a successful women’s wear line that is available on e-commerce sites such as Pernia’s Pop Up shop and it is known for its elegant simplicity. Venturing into menswear, he has carried over that same classic and utilitarian style into these new designs. Shah’s debut menswear collection will be available at both Good Earth multi-brand stores across India and at Nappa Dori lifestyle stores.
