Copenhagen Fashion Week is partnering with NuOrder to establish a new digital platform for a hybrid show season this August. NuOrder's technology will allow international buyers to access Fashion Week while circumstances prevent them from travelling to Copenhagen. NuOrder's platform is a complete wholesale digital platform connecting designers and retailers globally for commerce.
In a statement, Cecile Thorsmark, CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week, said, "Through our collaboration with the world’s highly regarded B2B e-commerce platform, NuOrder, we are very pleased to ensure that brands on the official schedule of Copenhagen Fashion Week get maximum exposure to international buyers. At a time when many buyers are challenged by travel restrictions and brands by showcasing to an international audience, it is important to have digital alternatives, thankfully ensured through our collaboration with NuOrder.”
NuOrder’s innovative, visually enhanced technology creates a seamless experience for buyers to shop products, plan assortments, and make smarter, faster purchases in real-time. Their services include access to market leading features like digital catalogues, line sheets, ordering, and the latest Virtual Showroom technology for designers and brands to connect and conduct commerce efficiently.
In a statement, Heath Well, NuOrder co-founder and CEO, said, “We are excited to be able to bring NuOrder's technology to Scandinavia's largest fashion show connecting brands and buyers on a global scale to create end-to-end connections from discovery to ordering. Our partnership comes at a pivotal moment in the digital transformation of the industry and creates sustainable solutions for going forward. We are honored to be driving this change during a key moment on the cultural calendar.”
