The Collective, the multi-brand luxury fashion boutique chain from the Aditya Birla Group is now adding women’s wear. This will be done at its Hyderabad store that opened recently. As of now, The Collective has men’s wear and accessories. It sells clothing and accessories from a wide array of both Indian and international high end designers. It brings alive global fashion through an expert curation of great brands, making it a one-stop destination for connoisseurs.
So far it has done women’s wear but only at its e-commerce store. Apart from women’s wear, The Collective’s Hyderabad store will have children’s wear from Fred Perry and Hackett London at select flagship stores. Luxury perfumes and cosmetics will also be added to the store’s product selection. This store, which also houses a library of design books for shoppers to peruse, is over 5,000 sq ft in size and holds over 60 designer brands.
The Collective is currently relocating its Chennai store to the Palladium Chennai. The first Collective opened in Bangalore. The chain grew by 22 per cent last year despite challenges like demonetization. The retailer has developed an e-commerce facility and about six per cent of sales are already being generated from the online platform.
