Founder Nischal Puri steps down from Brandis India

Brandis India founder and promoter Nischal Puri has resigned as the managing director of the company. He is looking at pursuing other interests. He wants to venture out and embrace challenges now that Brandis has grown to a position where it can be professionally managed. The decision was arrived at in consensus with the board.
Recently, the company raised Rs 115 crores from Peepul Capital, established manufacturing capacities to produce garments in India and will scale turnover an annual turnover of Rs 1.06 billion by the end of the year.
Puri founded Brandis India in 2010. It manufactures women’s lingerie brand Beyouty and men’s active wear 2go. Puri will continue to be part of the board. Post Brandis, he hopes to engage in giving back some knowledge that he has gained through public speaking forums as well as his own experience of 30 years of building brands, consulting for them and raising funds for them.
